PSD director participates in International Police Summit in Seoul

Director of the Public Security Department (PSD), Major-General Fadel Al-Hamoud, has participated in the International Police Summit hosted by the Korean National Police Agency in Seoul.

The summit, which brought together police chiefs from 29 countries around the world and representatives of international organizations, discussed means of "Global Partnership for Smart Policing".

On the sidelines of the summit, Al-Hamoud met with a number of participating police chiefs, and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and exchanging different police expertise.

The PSD director also took part in the 74th celebration of Korean Police Day, as well as the inauguration of International Police Expo 2019 in which the latest electronic devices, systems, policing missions and artificial intelligence systems were represented.

Also during his visit to the East-Asain country, Al-Hamoud discussed with Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency, Min Gap Ryong, means of enhancing police and security cooperation between Jordan and South Korea, as well as exchanging police expertise and modern technology especially of smart police services.
