Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday expelled Palestinian olive pickers from their land in Qaryout village, north of the West Bank city of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, the Palestinian Authority official in charge of the settlement file in the Northern West Bank, said today that the occupation troops prevented Palestinians from reaching their land to harvest olive, and fired tear gas canisters against the farmers while they were heading to Batisha area on the western side of the village.

Israeli forces expelled farmers for the fourth consecutive day from their land, although they do not need prior permits to enter the land, he added.
