A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, but sunny and pleasant weather conditions will continue to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be warm in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with westerly to northwesterly moderate winds.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) expected relatively cold evening nationwide with northwesterly winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 17 degrees Celsius in Amman and 13 in the northern cities, dropping down to 8. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 15.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Thursday, so spring-like and warm conditions will prevail across the country. In the evening, clouds at various altitudes will start to build up with a chance of intermittent rain, while winds will be southeasterly to brisk, causing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD said.
On Friday, similar warm conditions will persist with clouds at medium and high altitudes and spotty showers, accompanied by thunder at times in the northern and eastern areas. Winds will be southwesterly brisk, stirring dust in the Badia areas, the JMD added.
At night, low-altitude clouds are forecast to appear, bringing partly cloudy conditions with a chance of light showers in the northern and central parts of the country, the Department further said.
