ADC started the preparation to tender for designs and studies, and luring bids to build up Maan land port.

The project will begin after choosing the best design, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Railway Corporation and Maan Development Area, depending on the global logistics principles of land ports.

The project aims to relieve pressure on Aqaba port and to distribute the benefits of sustainable development among the different provinces and Aqaba Special Zone Authority. And through ADC, its development tools will spread through South and North.

The new land port will be connected with the ports of Aqaba through Aqaba railway and the existing road network.

The project is held on 5000 acres in Ma'an governorate 8 Km east of Aqaba, located directly on the main highway which connects Maan with Saudi Arabia and at the crossroads of highways and desert roads, indicating that the site was selected for linking several national and international routes between Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq and Aqaba port.
